How to use Free Prompt Generator

Free Prompt Generator adds an organized prompt library to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. You can browse approved public prompts, save favorites, manage your own prompts, and send a completed prompt without manually copying it into the chat.

Get started

  1. Open ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude in a supported browser.
  2. Select the Free Prompt Generator toolbar icon or the Prompts button on the AI website.
  3. Browse Public prompts, search the library, or open your Favorites.
  4. Select a prompt, complete its requested fields, and choose Send. The extension inserts and submits the prompt to the current conversation.

Your account and saved prompts

Sign in on PRMDB to access favorites, private prompts, drafts, and prompt creation. If you are already signed in on the website, the extension securely detects that session and connects your account automatically.

Create and contribute

Open the Create tab to prepare a reusable prompt with standard or custom input fields. Save unfinished work as a draft, keep prompts private, or submit a public prompt for administrator approval. Hidden, private, draft, and pending prompts are never shown in the public library.

Supported browsers and websites

The extension supports Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Its interface follows the host website's light or dark appearance and remembers your prompt-panel preferences.
